Role Purpose

Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of the Air Canada Customer Services journey in relation to flight connections. Acting as an ambassador for Air Canada, with your specialist product knowledge, you willsupervise a team of Connection Agents to manage all customer related flight connections, ensuring the customers journey and transition through Heathrow is seamless. Maintaining health and safety to the highest standard you willfollow good working practices in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times, meeting the requirements of the Air Canada product.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct daily briefing with the Air Canada Manager, BTW coordinator to review operational challenges and day of priorities
  • Conduct briefings with Airport Authority and WCHR/PRM service provider to review all days OPS challengesi.e. staffing levels
  • Monitor connection activity for all arrivals and departures of Air Canada flights: number of customers withconnections, routing, connection time, gate and actual time of arrival, special services
  • Coordinate connection activities to facilitate movement of customers and their bags. Identify reprotection options as required, including OAL or alternate methods of transport (train, sister cities etc)
  • Liaise with OAL when connection times are short or under MCT
