Cargo Operations Supervisor

Role Purpose

Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times. 

What you will be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the warehouse and office team, including delegating tasks, monitoring performance, providing guidance and support. 
• Ensuring that all warehouse procedures and processes are followed, including safety and on-time performance for our partner airlines. 
• Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse and office operations to increase efficiency and productivity. 
• Overseeing the maintenance and organisation of the warehouse, including the management of equipment and storage systems. 
• Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations whilst exceeding partner airline SLA's.

What we are looking for

• Experience in warehouse management or transport and logistics and airfreight 
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team 
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise & negotiate with a range of stakeholders 
• Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
