Role Purpose

Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of coordinating missing and found cargo. Provide support 
and work collaboratively with the Trucking/Transport & imports team

What you will be doing

• Trace and locate missing/found cargo 
• Reconcile bond check
• Attending to customer enquiries
• Warehouse checks
• Liaise with customers, suppliers & customers
• Interrogate all discrepancies
• Approval of ‘special' cargo i.e. animals (dogs/cats), human remains etc.
• Complete general filling and other office duties. 
• Liaising/reporting as required to customs
• Disposal of overstayed goods
• Acceptance of return cargo
• Locate missing/misplaced documentation
• Quarantine Inspections
• Quarantine disposal
• Carry out various administrative functions and reporting duties, plus demonstrate good computer and 
communication skills. 
• Ensure adherence to airline procedures including customs, quarantine and airport requirements
• Coordinate the Supplier's operational activities, freight delivery, unit load device collection handling at 
Sydney cargo facilities
• Ensuring Supplier drivers demonstrate safe & effective use of all equipment, forklifts & vehicles in accordance with 
WH&S and company policies
• Ensure Supplier actively optimizes loads and vehicles are used in line with Company expectations.
• Assurance that Supplier vehicles are productive in use and not delayed at Sydney cargo facilities.
• Investigate and report any damages or claims with respect to Supplier transport
• Coordinate Interstate Trucking.
• ‘Work down' as required

What we are looking for

Ability to respond to customer service functions.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Provide advice and information on the organization's products and services.
• Dangerous goods awareness and acceptance certificate.
• Apply detailed understanding of customer airline systems.
• Apply detailed understanding of internal operating systems.
• Apply detailed knowledge of import/export procedures.
• Excellent time managements skills
• Sound computer and numerical ability 
• Good verbal and written communication skills 
• Hold and maintain valid Cat 2 ADA.
• Hold and maintain valid state drivers licence. 
• Forklift License preferred 
• Hold and maintain valid ASIC.
