Role Purpose

The Warehouse Agent is responsible for delivering high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance to company policies and procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Key duties and tasks will include, but will not be restricted or limited to: 

    • Hold and maintain a valid CAT 2 licence.
    • Perform basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment including refuelling of vehicles if required.
    • Use basic knowledge of keyboard and function keys to enter and retrieve data through computer terminal/personal
    • Computer and operate printing devices.
    • Perform duties which centre on ‘hands on' activities in all areas including that which is directly and indirectly
    • Associated with delivery / acceptance cargo transfer to aircraft and/or freight shed.
    • Operate vehicles including tow motors in accordance with safe operating procedures.
    • Carry out established procedures ensuring freight is handled correctly including the loading and unloading of freight from ULD's and vehicles.
    • Working knowledge of sectional operating procedures, requirements and systems.
    • Dangerous goods awareness and handling requirements.
    • Security awareness.
    • Work down as Directed.

Qualifications and Experience

    • Be able to obtain, hold and maintain a forklift licence.
    • Hold a valid state Drivers Licence.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a team or autonomously
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines
    • Strong Administrative skills essential

    • Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
    • Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
    • Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
    • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
    • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
    • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
    • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
    • Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.
