Cargo Warehouse Manager

Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Warehouse Managers (one at T1 Domestic Airport and the other at T2 Matraville) to join our Sydney Cargo Team on a permanent Full-time basis.
The primary function of this role is to deliver high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times.

•    Safety & Compliance: Lead a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with airport operations, commercial teams, and external partners to ensure seamless connections and operational support across the site.
•    Operational Targets: Develop and maintain operational strategies and plans to achieve cargo throughput targets.
•    Team leadership: Lead and develop teams to foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and excellence.
•    Business improvement: Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, safety practices, and customer service delivery.

What we are looking for

About You:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who leads from the front, and has a strong background in cargo operations, aviation, warehouse management, or logistics. You'll be comfortable overseeing day to day operations, with a commitment to deliver business and operational targets in line with safety, security and customer expectations. 

•    Proven experience in cargo terminal or warehouse management, ideally within an airport or large logistics facility.
•    Strong understanding of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance management.
•    Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•    A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
•    Tertiary Qualifications preferable and/or a minimum of five years' experience, three of which as a Manager/Supervisor in the cargo handling, aviation or logistics environment. 
•    Proven experience demonstrating organizational & management skills
•    Knowledge in use of computers and Microsoft Office Management Package
