Role Purpose

The Group Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for various aspects of Group financial reporting and FP&A. This role will liaise with senior management, including the Head of FP&A and Chief Financial Officer. The role forms an important part of a strong team and is central to our future development and ambitious business plans. The role brings opportunities to progress both within central finance or in other parts of the business.

The role offers exposure to many teams outside the central finance function, including the commercial and regional finance teams.

 

What you will be doing

  • Preparation and review of weekly and monthly profit and cash flash report including review and resolution
  • of queries and providing commentary for Board reports. Commentary should be insightful ensuring that all
  • key variances across the group are identified and understood by stakeholders.
  • Management and development of the Central Finance Manager, Group Finance Analyst and Finance Graduate
  • Review and challenge of monthly financial results and KPIs, checking data integrity and querying
  • Conducting monthly review meetings with regional finance heads, identifying issues and related actions to address.
  • Preparation of monthly results pack for use in Executive team review meetings and meetings with our owners shareholder.

What we are looking for

  • A qualified accountant (CA/ACA or equivalent), with significant post qualification experience ideally within an international, multi currency group business.
  • Ability to communicate confidently at all levels across the Group, particularly with senior and executive management
  • Experience of FP&A systems management, development and design and associated reporting and modelling
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data and articulate in professional executive reporting formats to a very high standard with forecast modelling skills with experience of complex scenario modelling
  • An excellent working knowledge of MS office package and experience of financial reporting systems
  • High levels of drive and initiative with the ability to problem solve and think analytically
