Role Purpose

As Head of ESG, you will further develop our ESG agenda across all facets of Menzies Aviation's global operations. From ground operations to customer experience, you'll embed environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance excellence into our core operations.

This is a high-impact role for a dynamic leader who can translate global sustainability trends into actionable initiatives that drive performance, compliance, and reputation in a fast moving aviation services business.

 

What you will be doing

  • Further develop our company-wide sustainability strategy, building on the strong existing ESG foundation and aligning with aviation industry standards and global ESG frameworks.
  • Advise executive leadership on sustainability risks, opportunities, and innovations.
  • Maintaining and progressing our commitment to United Nations Global Compact programme.
  • Champion a culture of sustainability across all departments and locations.
  • Lead carbon reduction initiatives focused on fuel efficiency, sustainable infrastructure and similar while supporting the electrification of ground support equipment.
  • Oversee environmental compliance, reporting, and audits.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs within the workforce.
  • Identify and implement the impact of emerging technologies and any opportunities that may exist (e.g., Hydrogen, AI for emissions tracking and SAF).
