Principal Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to support the delivery of people initiatives
  • Provide advice on employee relations, performance and workforce matters
  • Embed Menzies values to support people decisions
  • Identify areas for improvement and establish a plan for change
  • Provide local initiatives to achieve business outcomes
  • Listen to our employee from feedback in onboarding and exit surveys
  • Interpret policy, Awards and Enterprise agreements
  • Drive organisational development, engagement, and learning initiatives
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance, manage WorkCover/WorkSafe matters, and promote a strong H&S culture
  • Lead HR projects that enhance people experience and business performance

You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources preferred.
  • Experience working in a Human Resources Business Partnering role.
  • High level of Business Acumen.
  • Persuading and influencing skills – gaining agreement, negotiating, persuading, promoting ideas, managing conflict.
  • A strong sense of urgency – the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural ability to build trusted relationships and manage stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and ethics, ensuring equal opportunities, using diversity, considering community and environment.
  • Motivated, resilient, and self-driven.
