Role Purpose

As an HR Consultant at Menzies Aviation, you will play a central role in supporting both leaders and employees throughout the full employment lifecycle. The role combines strategic and operational HR responsibilities and actively contributes to the company's development.

A key responsibility is the follow-up of sickness absence in close collaboration with managers, employees, and external stakeholders, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and health-promoting workplace. The role also covers personnel administration, HR systems, trade union relations, and advisory support on labor law matters.

This is a temporary role for 12 months, with potential for extension.

What you will be doing

  • Responsibility for the follow-up of sickness and absence in accordance with current laws and regulations.
  • Meeting facilitation needs for return to work, including dialogue meetings and contact with NAV.
  • Advice and support for managers in sickness absence cases and work environment-related issues.
  • Prepare and follow up plans for preventive work aimed at sickness absence.
  • Support as needed internal and external recruitment processes.

What we are looking for

  • Higher education in HR, organisational psychology or other relevant area, minimum bachelor level.
  • Experience with follow-up of sickness related absence in accordance with Norwegian laws and legislations.
  • Sufficient knowledge about the Norwegian Labour Law, IA-agreement and other relevant laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience with payroll processes or collaboration with payroll functions is considered an advantage.
