Role Purpose

Responsible for the safe, efficient handling and movement of air cargo across warehouse, forecourt, road running, and ramp operations, ensuring freight is processed, loaded, and transported in accordance with operational procedures and service level requirements. The position involves operating a range of vehicles and equipment, maintaining safety and compliance standards, performing cargo security and documentation tasks, and supporting aircraft turnaround through accurate freight handling and load management. 

What you will be doing

• Maintaining a strong safety culture within the workforce – driving OH&S awareness and compliance. 
• Meet deadlines and show initiative, discretion and judgement within the range of their skills and knowledge. 
• Ensuring that productivity and performance criteria are met. 
• Perform basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment including refuelling of vehicles. 
• Use basic knowledge of keyboard and function keys to enter and retrieve data through computer terminal,  
• Touch screens and handheld devices.
