Role Purpose

Responsible for the Training requirements of Ground Handling and to ensure that the station is fully compliant with standards laid down by our airline customers, controlling authorities & Menzies Aviation. The successful candidate shall also ensure all employees Training Records are correct, valid, and up to date, in line with both controlling authorities' requirements & regulations.

What you will be doing

  • To assist the development of new training material that may be required due to airline requirements or new procedures.
  • To maintain a close working relationship with all customer airlines and become the first point of reference for any amendments & updates to policies & procedures & to ensure all staff are trained accordingly and IOM is compliant at all times.
  • To assist, report & manage any airline or company trials that maybe required for the improvement of the operation & integrity of our customer airlines.
  • To liaise with the Management team to ensure staff are available for training courses without causing disruption to the safe management of the operation.
  • Gather & process all data & documentation necessary for the training department to be compliant by manual, automated or computerised systems including report writing.

What we are looking for

  • Computer literate & competent with Microsoft Office Packages (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
  • Flexible in your approach and comfortable working in a constantly changing environment & be able to self-time manage their working day to ensure effective running of the Training Department
  • You will be flexible in your working hours to suit the operation & training
  • Previous experience in a supervisory / training role would be an advantage but not essential
