Role Purpose

Load Control are responsible for the weight, balance and trim of aircraft. Operations staff will assist load control where required.

What you will be doing

  • Co-ordination with all parties and agencies to maintain the highest possible levels of service to client airlines.
  • Monitor phone and radio communications including updating the flight information service. Convey and deliver flight documents between the aircraft and appropriate airport facilities.
  • Production of all system documentation for each flight and send arrival, departure and post departure messages as per client airline requirements.
  • Input all Cargo uplift into Flight Management system, including Dangerous goods and supplementary information
  • Participate in training activities and conduct on the job training as the need arises.
  • Co-ordination of all activities during aircraft turnaround providing a reference point for all staff, agency and client airline personnel. Delivery of the load sheet (where required) to ensure that a quality, on-time departure is achieved.
  • Undertake other flight operations duties, passenger check-in, baggage services, flight arrivals/departures and general duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
  • Assist and liaise with load control as required
  • Completed all crewing processes and procedures as designated by client airlines.
  • Capture and monitor flight data in RSMS
  • Assist with external CLC operation

What we are looking for

  • Sound understanding of airline systems including DCS (Departure Control Systems) and/or the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to aviation safety.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • The ability to work accurately at pace whilst under pressure.
  • Excellent communications/interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of work related processes and procedures (applicable to this role)
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work a 24/7 hour, rotating roster
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office.
