Operations Team Leader

Role Purpose

The role is responsible to manage guide and support the team in conforming with service delivery standards for each airline by ensuring safe on time turnaround process and assigned aircraft handling activities are performed as per departmental SOP. Furthermore, the role requires to work with team and supervisor in relay of information, timely documentation & control in accordance with the airlines, airport and QHSE standards.

What you will be doing

• Assign tasks, monitor work, and ensure compliance to SOP; escalate operational problems and team issues wherever applicable to supervisor. 
• Interact with other departments including ramp operations, cargo team, operations control center and outside agencies to ensure effective communication in order to complete load control tasks safely accurately and submit flight records to airlines.
• Ensure completion, collection and delivery of flight documents and procedures, check quality & quantity of working tools, stock count (inventory) and requisitioning reducing damages & any loss.
• Ensure timely briefings before any aircraft task and relevant operational training are attended by the team members on safety related aspects and attend regular basic and refresher courses.
• Guide team to coordinate with internal departments and suppliers in relation to offloading/ loading and refueling ensuring departmental compliance. 
• Accountable and responsible for QHSE & security management within their area of responsibilities including risk assessments and incident investigations; also responsible to report workplace hazards, near misses, incidents and accidents

What we are looking for

• Degree/Diploma in related field, Bachelors' degree preferable
• Minimum 1-2 years of team leading experience
• Basic knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated
• Basic Computer skills and knowledge of related job applications
• Knowledge of ramp and ground operations, OCC operations, radio communications and local required regulations
