Role Purpose

Coordinate and manage training requirements in accordance with Menzies policies, local procedures, and regulations, ensuring high-quality learning experiences that support operational excellence. Collaborate with management to maintain consistent training standards and effectively plan resources to meet operational training needs.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee all training activities within the business unit, ensuring compliance with policy, legislation, customer requirements, and company standards.
  • Review, update, and disseminate approved training materials; liaise with global L&D for feedback, changes, and regulatory/customer approvals.
  •  Deliver courses for new and existing staff; ensure qualified trainers and assessors meet competency requirements; maintain personal qualifications.
  •  Ensure adherence to SOPs, health and safety, and security policies; prepare for internal/external audits; conduct assessments and evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and system access; deactivate accounts for resigned employees; uphold integrity in documentation.

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 36 months of relevant operational experience.
  • Proof of competence in the subject matter they are qualified to train.
  • Ability to present to an audience (e.g., to a minimum of five people).
  • Dangerous Goods Instructor: Unless stated by the national authority, instructors of initial and recurrent dangerous goods shall hold a Menzies Aviation Dangerous Goods Instructor qualification (CURR_0306).
  • Planning & Organization: Ability to manage training schedules and resources effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in training records, certifications, and compliance.
