Role Purpose

The primary function of this role is to provide leadership and direction to Passenger Services staff by way of coaching, developing and technical / operational assistance. In order to be successful in this role you will need to motivate and lead staff, whilst exercising initiative, discretion and judgment within the range of their skills and knowledge.

What you will be doing

  • Maintaining a strong safety culture within the workforce, driving OH&S and security awareness and compliance.
  • Coordination of pre and post flight procedures to maintain the highest possible levels of service to client airlines
  • Control and supervision of staff and operation.
  • Undertake flight operations duties; passenger check in, baggage services, flight arrival/departures and general duties in accordance with the requirements of the company.
  • Responsible for daily rostering and duties allocation.
  • Perform staff performance reviews and counselling where required.
  • Providing leadership and direction to staff.
  • Coaching and development of staff
  • Staff briefing duties.
  • Decision making and organisational skills to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Leading by example
  • Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including regular operational reporting
  • Participate in staff interviews and selection.
  • Liaise with customer airline representatives to ensure delivery of quality service product.
  • Administrative tasks as required.

What we are looking for

  • Ability to lead and direct a large team.
  • Conduct performance / feedback session to staff
  •  Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
  •  Excellent organisational and time management skills
  •  Airline system and computer skills
  •  Strong communicator
  •  High level attention to detail.
  •  High level customer service delivery.
  •  Understanding of Service Level Agreements.
  •  Previous experience in TCO, Service Desk or coordinating is highly desirable.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
