Role Purpose

Responsible to oversee the process of delivering baggage from the carrousel on the luggage trailer for transport from and to the aircrafts.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure staffing is adequate and sufficient for schedule and raise any deviations to your line manager/Duty Manager in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that the appropriate staff is allocated to baggage chutes / sorting area informing the Duty Manager were deviation.
  • Ensure all equipment is serviceable.
  • Ensure that all GSE that is defective is reported correctly.
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained at all times with appropriate etiquette.

What we are looking for

  • Knowledge of basic logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of rush systems and airline computers systems.
  • Applicants must have QR competence.
  • Knowledge intern routines regarding PMZ and internal and external rules for safety.
  • Basic knowledge of VIBES.
