Role Purpose

The position of Day shift Supervisor will be responsible for a group of 3-4 agents. You will be leading by example and ensuring a consistent delivery of all day shift operations. You will highlight any shortfalls and take corrective actions if necessary. You will maintain rigorous Health & Safety standards and excellent working practices with the Company policies.  Communicating effectively with all departments as well as all 3rd party partners to ensure our customers are afforded the very best service.

What you will be doing

  • To lead by example, strictly following correct airline and company procedures and promoting safe work practices
  • Highlight and discuss any shortfalls with team members to identify areas of improvement
  • Ensure all paperwork is recorded and handover to the Operations Supervisor
  • Answer the operations phone recording all times and check no delays have been issued
  • Attend daily calls with airline to discuss operational performance
  • Carry out daily audits with day shift staff and review findings
  • Record lateness and sickness of staff including filling in the relevant paperwork
  • General cleanliness of all assets and stock room control, including IFS
  • Supervise the day shift operations from office clean to toilet and water services. This may also include turnaround & night stops cleaning in down times
  • Any other reasonable requests

What we are looking for

  • A full driving license and must be able to obtain an airport Airside Driving Permit
  • A fully checkable 5-year work history
  • IT Skills – Good knowledge of basic excel
  • Punctual and reliable individual
  • Able to cope with time related; pressured situations and the skill to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
  • Team Player with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • All training will be provided
