Role Purpose

The Ramp Duty Manager's role is to provide leadership, direction and operational support to ensure safe, efficient and effective Ramp operations at Sydney International Airport. The delivery will be consistent with the expectations of all regulatory bodies and customer airlines' expectations/SLA's, whilst also ensuring adherence to company objectives, policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in an aviation environment (preferably ramp)
  • Proficient computer and numerical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective leadership and coaching skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve operational issues within a designated area.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Familiarity with Ramp and Baggage systems (SMART, MORSE, RSMS) and Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Cat 2 ADA.
  • Hold and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Hold and maintain a valid ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
