Role Purpose

Ramp Manager is responsible for the operational and financial results of relevant departments. To ensure that all staff is following required regulations for ramp operation in the daily operation and delivering in accordance with relevant SLA's.

What you will be doing

  • Manage effective measurements to monitor the performance across relevant departments. 
  • Working closely with the planning team to achieve optimum shift coverage.
  • Minimise staff turnover and sickness through effective management systems. 
  • Ensure consistent comprehensive practices are in please for management of all aspects of the company handbook e.g. disciplinary, absence and grievances.
  • Continually challenge existing practices to create improvements in all areas.

What we are looking for

  • Proven leadership skills and minimum 5 years leadership experience. 
  • Understanding of financial frameworks and the ability to make sound decisions regarding resource allocation.
  • Ability to combine operational work with strategic leadership and create balance between the two.
  • Competence in leading change processes, thinking creatively, and finding new solutions to established challenges.
  • Experience in setting clear goals and guidelines, and ensuring they are followed up in a measurable and transparent way.
