Role Purpose

Employees at this level are responsible and accountable for their own work and the work of others. They are responsible for the operation of a unit/section under their supervision. Supervision is by means of reporting to more senior management as required. Employees must be able to meet deadlines and are required to exercise initiative, discretion, and judgement within the range of their skills and knowledge.

What you will be doing

  • Communicate with airline reps and attend regular airline meetings.
  • Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Understanding of security procedure, quarantine, hygiene, dangerous and perishable goods requirements as necessary in the performance of the job.
  • Check serviceability of ULD before loading.
  • Check graveyard and report and fixed any problems that arise.
  • Work down as directed.
  • Provide supervision to all employees within their designated department.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve operational issues within a designated area or group.
  • Detailed understanding of incident reporting and investigation.
  • Detailed understanding of customer airline systems.
  • Detailed understanding of government regulations.
  • Ability to provide detailed advice and information on the organizations product and services
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
