Overview

The Terminal Manager will take full responsibility for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the terminal, from fit out to opening and beyond. Your leadership will be instrumental in making this a smooth transition from construction to day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cargo operations and will drive the terminal's performance, safety, and service delivery to the highest standards.

What you will be doing

•    Operational Management: Oversee all cargo terminal operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
•    Safety & Compliance: Lead a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.
•    Service Delivery: Ensure that cargo services are delivered at the highest standard to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
•    Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with airport operations, commercial teams, and external partners to ensure seamless connections and operational support across the site.
•    Business Growth: Support the identification and execution of commercial opportunities, contract negotiations, and growth initiatives across the terminal.

•    Manage the ongoing fit out phase of the terminal, ensuring it meets all operational requirements for go live.
•    Ensure all systems, infrastructure, and personnel are in place for smooth operations starting mid-2026.
•    Develop and maintain operational strategies and plans to achieve cargo throughput targets.
•    Lead and develop teams to foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and excellence.
•    Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, safety practices, and customer service delivery.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in cargo operations, warehouse management, or logistics. You'll be comfortable overseeing both strategic and day to day operations, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead a diverse team towards success.

•    Proven experience in cargo terminal or warehouse management, ideally within an airport or large logistics facility.
•    Strong understanding of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance management.
•    Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to drive business growth through service excellence and commercial engagement.
•    Strong project management skills, especially in large-scale infrastructure projects.
•    A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
