Role Purpose

Coordinate freight acceptance and delivery procedures whilst maintaining the highest possible levels of service and safety to customers.

What you will be doing:

• • Main accountabilities include: 
  • Maintaining a strong safety culture. Help drive OH&S awareness and compliance
  • Work without direct supervision
  • Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility
  • Must demonstrate leadership, decision making and organizational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment
  • Have a sound knowledge of administrative functions plus good computer and communication skills
  • Ascertain daily work schedules and allocate specific tasks to meet daily work objectives
  • Complete all documentation and system input relating to international and domestic imports and export cargo
  • Be dangerous goods acceptance trained and perform dangerous goods inspections
  • Coordinate the movement of International and domestic freight to meet schedules
  • Respond to customer/supplier enquiries and complaints
  • Process documentation at freight acceptance and delivery
  • Complete AVI check sheets and process
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers
  • Create invoices and reconcile banking ensuring that all applicable charges are collected.
  • Process cash and electronic transactions.
  • Complete general filling and other office duties
  • Maintain records of interstate movements and reconcile against customer invoices
  • Complete analysis related to airline trucking operations to optimise station performance
  • Manage On-Hand Interstate Transfers end-to-end
  • Manage CTO-to-CTO transfers
  • Respond to requests for interstate transfer quotes
  • Maintain records of interstate movements and reconcile against customer invoices
