Role Purpose

The Turnaround Coordinator (TCO) is responsible for coordinating the departure gate.

What you will be doing

• Responsible for a safe, secure & on time arrival & departure of aircraft
• Safely operate aerobridges and open and close aircraft doors
• Board and deboard passengers and airline crew
• Direct gate boarding operation to ensure efficient & secure processing of passengers
• Set up & monitor queuing barriers, signs etc.
• Prepare and manage DCS, (departure control system), boarding control.
• Liaise with ramp, load control, service desk and client carrier staff to process seat changes, upgrades and LMC's (last minute change/check in)
• Assist in monitoring oversize items & arrange hold stowage
• Assist with co-ordination of off scheduled and cancelled operations
• Co-ordinate bussing operations for departures/arrival on remote parking positions
• Complete post flight reports and messages
• Problem solving throughout the flight
• Other duties as required within skills base
