Role Purpose

The ULD Support Agent is responsible for monitoring and contributing to the physical handling of empty ULDs (Unit Load Devices) at Oslo Airport on behalf of MWC. The position ensures that MWC's ULD handling is carried out in the best possible manner, aligned with the company's goals, vision, and values, and in accordance with the agreements MWC holds with each airline.  

The ULD Support Agent also acts as a substitute for the ULD Duty Coordinator when necessary.

 

What you will be doing

  • Assist and coordinate assigned ULD handling and ensure tasks are executed in accordance with current guidelines, procedures, and standards. 
  • Monitor the quality of ULD handling, reporting, and follow-up on deviations and damage to containers/pallets.
  • Ensure sufficient availability of ULD dollies in collaboration with Warehouse / PMZ / KR Coordinators. 
  • Organize and place ULDs in designated areas. 
  • Use relevant tools/data systems to perform weekly ULD inventory checks.

What we are looking for

  • Valid Class B driver's license, vehicle permit, and forklift certification 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in airport ground handling preferred 
  • Physically capable of performing occasional heavy manual labor 
  • Good knowledge of and experience with operational processes across all product areas 
  • Fluent in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
