The part you’ll play

Aircraft Carpet Fitting and Soft Furnishings changes in accordance with Company Procedures. The post holder will also assist with Winter Operations when required.

To be carried out in accordance with company operating procedures and to the specified standard.

  • To liaise with airline / handling/ engineering representatives to establish time constraints and communicate to Operations Allocators so that effective plans can be made. To ensure correct staffing is allocated to achieve the required work performance and standard prior to departure without affecting the customer or their OTP records.
  • To be responsible for the associated service standards of the aircraft assigned and to report all known defects to the responsible engineering company.
  • To implement quality control procedures and check that these are being carried out in accordance with company and airline procedures.
  • Ensure all staff have the necessary skills, knowledge and training to undertake the work they are expected to perform working with the training department.
  • To liaise with the Duty Management and Allocator to ensure all release to service paperwork is accurate, completed in full, and submitted to the relevant Engineering Company in a timely fashion.
  • To give a comprehensive handover at the end of each day.
  • To give accurate stock reports of carpets held on shelf.
  • From time to time you will be expected to carry out duties as and when requested by a manager which are related to the services offered by this company, particularly during busy periods, foul weather conditions or to assist our customers at short notice.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must have good management and leadership skills.
  • Good spoken English.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft office.

Working in an Airside role, to follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass. To obtain this we will need 5 years' full referencing history, with a Criminal Record Check.
