Role Purpose

To coordinate and manage the training requirements in adherence to this policy and develop local learning content, in line with all local operating procedures and regulations. This supports our aim to produce “best in class” learning experiences for our people and the relevant knowledge and skills to deliver service excellence.

To strive to achieve a consistency of training standards to meet the overall business strategy and the interests of our risk, commercial and people agenda.

To coordinate with your management team effective methods of planning and resource management to meet the operational training demands.

What you will be doing

Manage Training Portfolio: Oversee all training activities within the business unit, ensuring compliance with policy, legislation, customer requirements, and company standards.
Content Management: Review, update, and disseminate approved training materials; liaise with global L&D for feedback, changes, and regulatory/customer approvals.
Training Delivery & Quality: Deliver courses for new and existing staff; ensure qualified trainers and assessors meet competency requirements; maintain personal qualifications.
Records & Systems: Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and system access; deactivate accounts for resigned employees; uphold integrity in documentation.
Planning & Resources: Develop annual training plans, schedules, and shadowing programs; manage training costs and facilities; review Local Training Matrix annually.

What we are looking for

A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant operational experience, in training coordination or operational training within aviation.
Ability to present to an audience (e.g., to a minimum of five people).
Dangerous Goods Instructor: Unless stated by the national authority, instructors of initial and recurrent dangerous goods shall hold a Menzies Aviation Dangerous Goods Instructor qualification (CURR_0306).
Planning, Organization & Attention to Detail: Effectively manages training schedules and resources while maintaining accurate records, certifications, and compliance.
Communication & Problem-Solving: Communicates clearly with management and operational teams and quickly addresses training gaps with practical solutions.
