The part you’ll play

Responsible for the day to day operational performance of the teams within the Ramp department you will draw on your operational experience to ensure all standards, especially safety and security, are closely and consistently adhered to.

You’ll lead your team to deliver an optimum, time and cost efficient service to our customers every day and spend time identifying strengths and opportunities from the people within your teams to continually develop efficiencies, service improvements and business innovation.

You will use your excellent communication skills to liaise with other airport teams to build positive working relationships internally and externally. You will support the Senior Operational Management Teams in the development of the strategic business plans and effectively manage your local teams and budgets to deliver excellent service to our airport customers.

 

What you’ll need to bring

  • Excellent leadership skills in the managing, maintaining and developing an operational team
  • Experience of ground handling practices within the Ramp at either a regional or international airport 

  • Strong communications skills in both French and English and experience in liaising with senior airline, airport, and other stakeholder personnel.
  • A track record of delivering against key performance and financial targets, 
working within a budgetary framework 

  • Demonstrable experience of people management skills, including dealing with 
local Employee Relation matters 

  • Aptitude to develop the departmental management team, succession planning and re-engineer business processes as demanded by changes in the business.
  • Computer skills including Word and Excel. 


 

To follow aviation security requirements, working in an Airside role you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass. To obtain this we will need 5 years' full referencing history, with a Criminal Record Check.
