Role Purpose

The Loading Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating aircraft loading and unloading operations, with a strong focus on freighter aircrafts. The role ensures that all ramp activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements and Menzies standards.

Today, we provide time-critical logistics services at over 250 locations across 58 countries. At Oslo Gardermoen Airport, we are a key player in air cargo operations and are now seeking a Loading Supervisor.

As a Loading Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in day-to-day cargo handling operations and be a key link between the ramp team, warehouse, and flight crews. The position requires a solid knowledge of aircraft weight and balance principles, operational procedures, and team supervision, as well as the ability to work under time pressure and adapt to operational changes.

What you will be doing

Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of aircraft, especially freighters, in accordance with company procedures and aviation safety regulations.
Ensure proper use of loading equipment, unit load devices (ULD), and other assistive tools.
Guide, direct, and support ramp agents and cargo handlers during loading operations.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with warehouse, flight crews, and load control to ensure accurate load planning and execution.
Conduct pre- and post-load checks, ensuring cargo security, correct positioning, and documentation accuracy.

What we are looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in ground handling or air cargo operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
Proven experience in loading and unloading freighter aircraft is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of safety regulations, aircraft weight and balance principles, and cargo documentation.
Valid class B driver's license
Clean criminal record and ability to obtain an airport ID from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority.
