Role Purpose

You will be responsible for reviewing documentation and data in the Cargo Handling System for import, export, transfer cargo, and mail shipments to ensure accuracy before invoicing customer airlines or freight agents. The role includes managing billing processes, applying or adjusting charges as required, and ensuring compliance with company security and health & safety policies.

What you will be doing

  • Verify import and export flight file documentation to ensure details match cargo system records, manifests and AWB copies.
  • Add or remove charges in the system for shipments where charges are not automatically triggered, particularly for terminal handling charges.
  • Generate pre-invoice reports from the cargo handling system to confirm that delivered shipments have correct charges applied.
  • Liaise with Operations to resolve errors, omissions, or clarify charge details prior to invoicing.
  • Execute invoice runs in the cargo handling system, ensuring all charges reflect pre-invoice adjustments.

  • Must have extensive cargo experience.
  • Must have excellent practical knowledge of Cargo processes.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively imperative.
  • Ability to work effectively & efficiently to tight & flexible deadlines essential.
