Role Purpose

Leading a team of De-Icers on shift. Possess good leadership and organisational skills with the ability to communicate at all levels including staff from de-icers through to management. Must have confidence and the expertise to liaise with customers and airline representatives. The post requires oversight of quality, safety and security whilst de-icing aircraft and must adhere to airline specifications and timeframes. The ideal candidate must be motivated and will strive for the best possible standards in keeping our environment safe and compliant. 



What you will be doing

  • Check that all security checks are being performed when required.
  • Aircraft De-icing
  • Apply de-icing/anti-icing with full training provided
  • Responsible for recording de-icing/anti-icing events, reporting to management regarding safety, SMART inspections. Daily/Monthly operational inspections.
  • Support with the training of de-icing operators and ensure training records are maintained in line with company policy
  • Oversight of the Batching Plant

What we are looking for

  • Flexible and service minded
  • Hold a full DVLA driving licence. 
  • Should have vast experience of de-icing procedures
  • Attention to detail and ability to always maintain health and safety standards
  • Ability to read, write and understand a good level of English
  • Ability to work under pressure yet maintain high standards
