Accountable for the day-to-day operational performance, safety, security and customer satisfaction through effective support and management of the operational area.

NCE offers a wide variety of Ground Handling services to a large customer base. Delivery of services ensuring high levels of performance, with special focus on Safety & Security, On Time Performance and Customer Service. Maintain high staff motivation and good customer relations. The role requires a proven manager with a strong operational understanding.


Candidate requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of Aviation and Ground Handling services.
  • Proficient knowledge of the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate all levels of staff to achieve operational and station goals.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of financial practices.
  • Driven to achieve results.
  • Passionate about promoting Safety & Security standards as well as high quality services within the organisation.
  • SLA driven to meet customer expectations by delivering excellence.
  • Ability to drive and deliver improvement plans and the relevant follow up process.
  • Ability to develop the potential of the management teams in all services.
  • Adaptability with regards to working with a multi-national workforce.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prepare reports in English.
  • Ability to work with a diverse work force and to adjust to the local conditions of the station
  • Deep sense of team spirit and fairness.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Creative in new ideas for improvement.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and flexible attitude.
  • Flexibility around working days and hours.
  • English and French mandatory.


Safety, Security and Compliance
