Role Purpose

 To provide assistance to passengers arriving with mishandled luggage, in line of specific airline`s 
requirements. Responsible for handling the arrivals operation on a shift through clerical, manual and computerised 
means, ensuring customer service standards of the Airlines are achieved, and that Menzies and 
Airline policies and procedures are followed

 

What you will be doing

  • To create lost and damaged baggage reports, AHL and DPR in SITA's WorldTracer system and 
    any other tracing system, as required.
  • To process rush bags/expedited bags with earliest possible flights or deliveries.
  • Responsible for checking action area in WT system and clearing it regardless of position in the 
    department / shift
  • To trace baggage by using Sita World Tracer System
  • Constantly clearing bags from baggage belts and processing them. (International and Domestic

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of PC operations, including programs as World Tracer, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Possess a Driving License Category “B”.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • To be organized and have a logical and systematic method of work. And be able for handling manual lifting of bags.
