Role Purpose

  • To provide assistance to passengers arriving with mishandled luggage, in line of specific airline's requirements.
  • Responsible for handling the arrivals operation on a shift through clerical, manual and computerised means, ensuring customer service standards of the Airlines are achieved, and that Menzies and Airline policies and procedures are followed.

What you will be doing

  • Ensures the correct completion of all documents related to the flight (Flight File) and is responsible for the accuracy and reality of records stated on documents.
  • Ensures that the workplace is clean and tidy.
  • To assist / liaise with baggage delivery companies and other stations.
  • To be able to manually lift the bags if needed.
  • To answer and action immediately where needed on all telephone calls from Airlines and passengers.

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of the English language and a Scandinavian language, both written and spoken.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • To be physically fit for handling manual lifting of bags.
  • To be able to work in a team, under pressure and sometimes under conflicting situations.
  • To be able to communicate with the staff from other departments in order to resolve problems during working hours and under pressure.
