We have an opportunity for well- organized and adaptable individuals to Supervise and manage teams of aircraft cabin cleaning team leaders and their teams in the cleaning of the interior of aircraft transiting, arriving or departing the airport. The work must be to exceptionally high standards for the comfort of passengers and strict adherence to hygiene and cleanliness is paramount.  Tight critical timelines must be met.

Main accountabilities include:

 

Commercial and operational responsibilities

 

  • Allocating the correct manpower resources during your shift period to ensure the safe and speedy turn-round of aircraft transiting Baghdad Airport.
  • Be aware of all airlines individual requirements for cleaning according to SLA's.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Companies electronic and automated reporting and data systems utilizing these systems for reporting and observations of all incidents and accidents.
  • Logging all service times spent on an aircraft and reporting all delays in your operation   during your shift period and detailing the root causes for delays. 
  • Accountable for all Company assets on the ground throughout your shift cycle.
  • Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes and/or action according to procedures with the relevant departmental managers/supervisors and maintain the reporting register
  • Evaluate procedures and processes making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide full cooperation with other departments that you come in contact with during operations to ensure the common goal of turning round aircraft is met in an efficient, professional and safe manner.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies, products and equipment are always re-stocked before they get low and becomes critical to the operation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical abilities test, hearing and vision tests 

 

Functional Responsibilities

  • Prepare and carry out performance evaluation forms when required.
  • Monitor and report any absenteeism on your shift.
  • Deal correctly and appropriately with any disciplinary issues that may arise on your shift through the correct channels and reporting chain.
  • Efficiently Carry out all administrative tasks for your shift including maintaining a leave/holiday roster while considering the operational tempo and that the operations come first
  • This role will also be responsible for the interior security of the aircraft after landing and prior to take off

  • Carry out all activities of the role and processing activities (as above) as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training to ensure the success of the operation including the following:

  • Remain up to date with all station notices relating to policies and procedures.
  • Remain up to date with all relevant operational, systems and Customer Service training.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Must have had minimum 2 years previous aircraft cleaning experience and knowledge.
  • Must be fluency in English.
  • Must be reliable and punctual with good organizational skills.
  • Customer and safety focused.
  • Must be good in delegating and multi-tasking team's dependant on aircraft type.
  • Must have knowledge of cleaning materials and the correct and safe use of them.  This includes ergonomic aids.
  • Must be familiar with all the hazards staff face during aircraft cleaning and working in confined spaces so all precautions is taken to ensure the well- being of staff.
  •  National driving licence.
