Reporting the RVP Finance & Corporate Administration, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of business intelligence, financial and operation reporting, financial planning and analyst, as well as a proven track record in partnering and managing internal and external stakeholder.

Principal Responsibilities

Key duties and tasks will include, but will not be restricted or limited to:

  • Lead annual Budget and periodic forecasting process
  • Lead and standardise flash reporting, financial reporting and Board presentation
  • Implements/drives performance management processes (lead indicators / KPI's) across the region
  • Recommends initiatives (sales growth, improvements and reallocations) through commercial understanding, financial and non-financial information with local and external knowledge to maximize the regional operating performance.
  • Review prospects for future growth of income and new product areas.
  • Actively participates in the development of financial goals, plans, strategies and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support growth of business through acquisitions by assisting with reviews of the financial reports and forecasts of target entities and assisting with roll-out of group systems and processes following acquisition
  • Assists in preparation of egional presentations to customers – internal and external
  • Manages detailed customer, product & contract costing and profitability.
  • Communicates management information on a timely basis through on going reporting, monitoring and analysis of the historical and projected financial results.
  • Communicates the financial results to the managers, supervisors and employees in a manner that focuses business financial improvement.
  • Provides measurement and feedback on adherence to targeted financial and non-financial objectives.
  • Support and share knowledge with the regional team and in-country Business and Finance who you will work alongside and provide ad hoc assistance, as required
  • Identify opportunity areas and provide supporting ad hoc analysis of various operating functions and processes as required.
  • Utilize PowerBI for dashboard and reporting design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, and/or a related field.
  • Fully qualified accountant preferred
  • Audit experience, preferably large 4 preferred
  • Experience of working in a multi-site, multi-national environment preferred.
  • Natural leader with the ability to drive solutions, including efficiency and cost control within a complex business.
  • Proficiency with integrated business software (ERP) and PowerBI preferred
  • Take charge individual with lots of energy and clear sense of urgency.
  • Confident in influencing business managers
  • Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to drive solutions to complex operational and financial issues.
  • Strong analytical skills including excellent Excel modelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented matrix environment that is fast paced and demanding.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally
