Role Purpose

This role will be working within our Pearl Executive Aviation and will be responsible for managing business development, project planning & implementation of required capital expenditures, operations and services that enable the organisation to effectively support the rapid growth of the business. Furthermore, the role includes liaising with third party partners, project managers, construction contractors, airport authorities, government agencies, suppliers dealing with internal and external project team to ensure consistency, efficiency and collaborative implementation of defined scope of work (SOW).

 

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for all Pearl Executive Aviation business development in line with corporate strategy.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling and defining project scope, budget estimates, resources & priorities for achieving deliverable timelines.
  • Work closely with procurement and commercial team to define the scope of works (SOW) for the delivery of all supply & services contracts to meet time plan, budget and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides focus along with sense of direction to internal & external team for all new/existing projects at the group & station level and ensure compliance as per local regulatory and QHSE norms.
  • Analyse budget conformance, resource needs/conflicts, develop project status reports, monitor capital/non-capital expenditure and audit effectiveness.
  • Hold regular meetings with internal & external team and follow up on the ongoing projects; provide the necessary feedback and ensure documentation & approvals for any alterations.
  • Conduct & implement project risk management plan while evaluating projects and result assessments.
  • Directs, manage and maintain external partners/teams for bids and completes bid analysis and support in global tender and post-tender preparation.
  • Identify opportunities to drive additional cost saving, improve quality & service levels, reduce risk exposure, and enhance innovation.
  • Overseeing of a full contract and participating in negotiations, providing guidance, drafting and reviewing the contracts, assessing and minimizing contractual risks.
  • Develop key relationships with business stake holders, government entities, vendors, external partner/teams and strategic supply partners to improve project efficiency.
  • Additional projects and KPIs related to ground handling, cargo handling, lounges may be assigned by line manager.

  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety and security rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the Company Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Business development, project management and Financial Acumen with focus on executive aviation projects including, but not limited to new FBOs, concessions and licenses.
  • Vendor Management & Negotiations
  • Project Risk Management Key Performance Indicator
  • Efficiency and effectiveness in maintaining Quality, budget and project completion within timeline
  • Customer Satisfaction (key stakeholder & airport authorities) and meeting launch timelines
  • Project Governance and Leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in project management or relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of project implementation in management role, aviation experience preferred.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills and timely decision making
  • Leadership as well as team-building skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation, auditing procedures, legal regulations, and supply chain management
  • Excellent Computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and related applications - Goal orientation and Drive for results
