Role Purpose

Responsible for the Freighter Handling Team. Responsible for all freight handling issues at Menzies Aviation Brussels.

What you will be doing

Cargo Turnover: Structuring, organizing and controlling the work organization for a balance between occupation and services.
Production: Determining criteria for production and financial resources. Creating financial support for the management of Menzies. Obtaining agreement with suppliers. Organizing synergy between handling services.
Labour organization: Developing criteria for organizational development and job creation. Creating transparency and efficiency in the function and organization structure. Developing and implementing of staff instruments. Controlling reorganizations.
Contract advice: Estimating the operational and commercial feasibility of rates for airlines. Developing rates for a balance between margins and market share.
Relations: Recognizing decision makers with customers and suppliers. Recognizing and agreeing efficiency benefits.

What we are looking for

Knowledge of business strategy on HBO level;
Knowledge of the logistics of road and air transport, aircraft handling processes and air traffic at Brussels Airport;
Knowledge of international CARGO business strategy and the strategy and processes of Menzies Aviation Ground Services;
Social skill for directing and making agreements with customers;
Expression skill for positioning and formulating principles within Ground Freight Handling Services.
