Role Purpose

The role is responsible to perform designated duties in providing efficient & effective customer service and cargo delivery to clients. Furthermore, the role requires to work in relation with import, export, warehouse, claims, bonded and other cargo services as per the departmental standard operating procedures following QHSE norms & standards. In addition, perform other related duties as directed by the immediate superior.

 

What you will be doing

  • Responsible to perform all operational activities related to cargo services as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreement (SLA) for all operational areas for catering to operational variations.
  • Ensure personal grooming, hygiene standards & proper PPE usage as per company's standard at all times.
  • Ensure timely completion of all activities, documentation and statistics related to import / export cargo assigned during shift.
  • Receive, sort and process cargo manifest, transfer manifest, airway bill and AV7 for mail bags as per established procedures; ensure accuracy of required documentation and inform concerned import/export cargo team on discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper update of cargo system for all relevant import/export airway bill data.

What we are looking for

  • Diploma, Bachelors' degree preferable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of similar experience
  • Knowledge of airline air cargo operations and procedures
  • Customer service orientation and punctuality
