Role Purpose

The Cargo Flight Clerk role is responsible for delivering high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers. This will include coordinating and supporting the efficient movement of domestic and international freight while ensuring compliance with airline, customs, quarantine, safety, and airport regulations.  

 

What you will be doing

  • Maintain a strong safety culture within the workplace driving OH&S awareness in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times. 
  • Work without direct supervision 
  • Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility 
  • Must demonstrate leadership, decision making and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment 
  • Have a sound knowledge of administrative functions plus good computer and communication skills

What we are looking for

  • Apply a detailed knowledge of company policy and procedure. 
  • Possess relevant experience relating to import and export flight operations. 
  • Have sound knowledge of related flight operations/administrative functions and SITA text messaging etc. 
  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment, processing multiple flights  
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
