Role Purpose

The Cargo Office Agent is responsible for processing and registering import and export airwaybills in the Cargo Handling System, ensuring that all guidelines, manuals and customer requirements are followed.

Together with the Duty Manager, the role supports daily coordination within the unit and shift, provides guidance to employees, follows up deviations and irregularities, and responds to inquiries from internal and external customers in a professional and accurate manner.

The position could either be with Office og Planning department (import/export), and your task will vary based on where you work

What you will be doing

Hold overall responsibility for manifesting (export, transfer, import cargo).
Process and register all import/export air waybills into the Cargo Handling System.
Ensure all agreed deadlines and routings are followed and make corrections in case of deviations.
Perform necessary tracing of all shipments in the event of irregularities.
Ensure accurate capture of NOTOC and final figures such as UWS are sent as per airlines SLA.

What we are looking for

Has a positive attitude in challenging situations.
Fluent oral and written skills in at least one Scandinavian language and English.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
High level of collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with solid computer literacy.

Due to our shift structure, some shifts start or end outside the hours of public transport availability. Therefore, access to a personal vehicle is required.
