Role Purpose
We are currently seeking motivated and safety-focused Cargo Warehouse Operator to join our Adelaide Airport Cargo team. Key duties include preparing air cargo, general warehouse and forecourt duties. Manual handling is required, including heavy lifting. A current South Australian Driver's Licence is essential.
This role involves import and export cargo handling operations within a dynamic airport environment, supporting airline schedules and operational deadlines.
What you will be doing
Safe handling of import and export cargo
Forklift operations within the cargo warehouse and forecourt areas
Build-up and breakdown of airline ULDs and pallets
Cargo acceptance, dispatch and warehouse processing duties
Aircraft cargo handling support and cargo transfers
Completion of warehouse scanning, documentation and cargo irregularity reporting
Manual handling and physical warehouse duties, including heavy lifting
Compliance with aviation security, WHS, quarantine and operational procedures
Working to operational deadlines and flight schedules
Operation of cargo handling equipment in accordance with safe operating procedures

What we are looking for
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Current South Australian Driver's Licence
Previous cargo, warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
Ability to obtain and maintain an Airside Driver's Licence
Ability to pass police checks, medical assessments and security clearances
Flexible availability across rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
Strong teamwork, communication and attention to detail
Commitment to safety, operational compliance and customer service
