Role Purpose

We have an exciting position for a Central Finance Manager to join our group finance team where the you will be provide financial control of c$50m of costs of the central functions. 

The job holder will provide regular financial and business support to senior management, working closely with our Menzies Business Service Centre and leading the Central finance team. The role will involve exposure to senior business leaders within the group, reporting to the to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.

 

What you will be doing

  • The accounting of the central support entities, including managing month end and group reporting submissions
  • Timely and accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts for the central support functions, and related analyses versus forecast and budget.
  • Day to day interactions with the outsourced finance centre (Menzies Business Services Centre) who provide services to the accounting team
  • Preparation of forecasts and budgets for central support functions, and provision of finance business support to senior management budget owners
  • Management of the accounting for group insurance policies and control over claim settlement payments
  • Management of the recharging and allocation processes of central support costs to subsidiary businesses through Menzies Business Services Centre

What we are looking for

  • A qualified chartered/certified accountant.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance/controlling area in global business.
  • High level of drive and initiative with the ability to problem solve and think analytically.
  • Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software and experience of accounting and reporting systems.
  • Experience of OneStream would be desirable. 
  • Ability to communicate confidently and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good organisational skills including the ability to effectively identify deadlines and prioritise work.
