Role Purpose

The Team Leader will act as the shift supervisor, assisting in ensuring optimal production execution and that assigned tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's current standards and customer quality requirements (SLA).

The position reports to the Department Manager, but operational planning and handling of deviations in production are carried out in collaboration with the Duty Manager.

This is a shift-based position.

What you will be doing

Lead and coordinate assigned production for the transport group and be an active support for unit employees and managers in planning and executing daily operations.

Plan, prepare, distribute, and carry out the task of the transport group, including necessary follow-up work.
Collaborate with the Department Manager/Duty Manager and other managers and coordinators regarding the allocation of the unit's resources to achieve the goals of the unit and Menzies.
Responsible for ensuring that transport group employees have the necessary skills, training, and equipment certifications.
Work closely with other departments and product areas relevant to achieving optimal handling of assigned production (Apron/PMZ/Gate/Check-in, etc.).
Provide professional support to colleagues regarding work routines and equipment use.

What we are looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a ramp agent/cargo handler.
Good knowledge and experience with work processes in all product areas.
Physically capable of performing occasionally heavy manual labor.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Vocational certificate in terminal operations (logistics) is an advantage.
