Role Purpose

The Team Leader will act as the shift supervisor, assisting in ensuring optimal production execution and that assigned tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's current standards and customer quality requirements (SLA).

What you will be doing

  • Plan, prepare, distribute, and carry out the task of the transport group, including necessary follow-up work.  
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager/Duty Manager and other managers and coordinators regarding the allocation of the unit's resources to achieve the goals of the unit and Menzies.  
  • Help ensure optimal use of team resources within set parameters.  
  • Responsible for ensuring that transport group employees have the necessary skills, training, and equipment certifications.  
  • Coordinate deliveries with other Menzies areas to ensure a cohesive Menzies service delivery.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a ramp agent/cargo handler. 
  • Valid license / driving authorization. 
  • Possess valid special competence and authorization, including the Special Worker Course. 
  • Good knowledge and experience with work processes in all product areas. 
  • Physically capable of performing occasionally heavy manual labor.
