Role Purpose

As a De-Icing Coordinator, you will be the focal point of contact for aircraft de-icing with customer airlines. Delivering high performance standards, you will be involved in the preparation and maintenance of all documentation associated with the provision of de/anti-icing activities, including procedures, relevant training materials, quality control and fluid management records, audit reports and risk assessments.

 

What you will be doing

  • Ensuring that flights are De/Anti-Iced in accordance with Menzies Aviation, aircraft manufacturers and airline specifications.
  • Supporting Duty Managers / Ops Supervisors with allocation of de-icing staff and rigs.
  • Managing the performance of de-icing staff in conjunction with line managers, through coaching and feedback and the investigation of accidents and incidents as required.
  • Managing and monitoring fluid stocks, fluid batching, deliveries and compliance.
  • Overseeing the calibration and functionality of all relevant equipment to include Storage Fluid, Transfer lines, Pumps and Refractometers.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in de-icing operations.
  • A full 5-year work/unemployment/education history.
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence or valid passport.
  • Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance (we will assist in this process)
