Role Purpose

People are at the heart of what we do here at Menzies, so ensuring that our workforce both equipped and engaged is critical to our ongoing business success. As a Development & Engagement Coordinator, you will support on a range of global development and engagement efforts. What this looks like will change on a project-by-project basis but can commonly include scheduling training, assisting with content creation, curating learning content and materials, responding to enquiries, data entry, reporting and systems administration. As part of the wider group people function, you'll also support the wider function as required on broader people projects and processes.

The role is a perfect opportunity for someone with experience in a junior human resource or learning and development role that is looking to step into a more specialist role with a global impact. You'll need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic, project-based environment—highly adaptable, eager to learn, and proactive in finding solutions when faced with new challenges.

What you will be doing

Maintaining the development eLearning library. Liaising with external vendors, maintaining the catalogue internally with support from the HRIS technical teams (SuccessFactors), and assisting with internal promotion.
Supporting engagement and wellbeing initiatives including event coordination, managing translations, building materials, assisting with communications, and data analysis.
Supporting the performance management process including process and systems administration, reporting, and user queries.
Supporting the SpeakUp system, including system administration and reporting.
Preparing accurate reports and metrics as required.

What we are looking for

Junior level experience in a generalist human resource and/or learning and development role.
Strong writing skills to the level of drafting engaging learning content and employee communications.
Experience creating compelling reports, presentations, and posters in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Publisher.
Basic data analysis skills (Excel – data cleaning, pivot tables, graphs, basic functions).
Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and projects at the same time.
