Role Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Digital Content Librarian to manage our Intranet, focusing on policy and operational manuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, organising, and updating content using Squiz as the primary technology platform. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of content management systems and technical expertise.

 

What you will be doing

  • Manage and maintain the digital content, ensuring all policy and operational manuals are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Use Squiz to organise, categorise, and tag content for optimal searchability and user experience.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather, review, and update content as needed.
  • Develop and implement content management strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyse intranet usage and feedback to continuously improve content and user experience.
  • Train and support staff on using the intranet effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards in all content management activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with content management platforms, knowledge of Squiz is an advantage
  • Knowledge of best practices in content management and information architecture
  • Solid English skills in both written and spoken English 
  • IT literacy and advanced knowledge on Microsoft packages
  • Experience in training and supporting staff in using content management platforms
  • Understanding of metadata standards and taxonomy development
  • Familiarity with operational and policy manuals in a corporate or institutional setting
