Role Purpose

The equipment operator is responsible for driving and operating all technical and passenger equipment. Furthermore, the role is required to inspect and ensure serviceability of all assigned equipment with safety concerns.

 

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for driving and operating technical and passenger equipment
  • Ensure timely and safe loading and offloading operations
  • Inspect all assigned equipment to ensure serviceability and that the safety issues, incidents or discrepancies are solved
  • Ensure adherence to all operating and safety procedures and check aircraft doors to avoid any damage when loading and offloading; make sure aircraft structure is clear from any barrier to avoid any ground crash
  • Carry out gate pushback and towing activities safely and correctly aligned with the standard operating procedures /work instructions provided by the operation supervisor
  • Responsible to report workplace hazards, near misses, incidents to immediate Supervisors and or station QHSE and security department
  • Inform superior on any issues and perform other related duties as assigned by superior
