Role Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, analysis, and reporting while contributing to meaningful projects that support the company's strategic objectives.

What you will be doing

Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analysing data and preparing variance reports.
Conduct research and analysis on market trends, financial metrics, and investment opportunities.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
Help with accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and process financial data.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the finance team.

What we are looking for

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
