Role Purpose

As the Finance Systems Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading financial systems centric IT projects from ideation through to completion including planning, managing, developing, and executing effective solutions to facilitate the delivery of IT projects on time within budget to achieve the desired results. This role demands a blend of technical understanding of financial systems, effective project management skills, and a profound understanding of financial systems and their functionalities.

What you will be doing

Responsible for managing financial systems projects in line with our product roadmap alongside the Finance team for IPOS and E@W.
Facilitate the management of the financial systems projects, including identifying dependencies between projects, resources, and ensure reporting of programme level issues and risks.
Responsible for increasing systems utilisation and usage status reporting.
Ensure system high availability and building/testing backup and disaster recovery plans.
Divide the overall project goals into prioritized deliverables for focused progress
Ensure new development/features conforms to established standards, design specification and performance goals.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

Degree in information technology, Business, or related field.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

In-depth knowledge of specific financial systems such as SUN systems platforms, SAP 4/hanna, and/or Oracle.
